Role Overview

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure, with strong hands-on experience in Azure cloud environments, automation, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and modern DevOps practices. The role involves collaborating across development, QA, security, and operations teams to improve deployment processes, system stability, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep
• Implement and support containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes / AKS
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using Azure monitoring and observability tools
• Troubleshoot deployment, environment, and infrastructure issues across development, staging, and production
• Collaborate with development teams to improve release processes, deployment frequency, and system stability
• Implement DevSecOps best practices, including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and access control
• Manage source control workflows and branching strategies using Git-based repositories
• Support cloud governance, cost optimization, backup, disaster recovery, and security standards
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
• Participate in on-call support and incident management as required

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services and architecture
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar
• Proficiency in Terraform and/or other IaC tools
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Strong understanding of Linux/Windows server administration
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar
• Knowledge of networking, IAM, security, and cloud governance concepts
• Experience with Git, branching strategies, and release management
• Ability to analyze production issues and provide effective root-cause analysis
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Educational Qualifications

• Any technical degree or diploma in IT or Computer Science

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation
