Role Overview
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to monitor, protect, and improve the security of systems, networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM, EDR, antivirus, firewall, and security alerts
- Investigate incidents, perform initial response, and escalate critical threats
- Conduct vulnerability scanning, patch tracking, and security remediation
- Manage endpoint security, MFA, access controls, and basic IAM activities
- Support firewall, VPN, network-security, and email-security controls
- Assist with security audits, compliance activities, risk assessments, and documentation
- Perform log analysis, threat monitoring, and security-tool tuning
- Support security awareness, incident reporting, and policy implementation
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, network, and application teams
Required Skills
- Knowledge of SIEM, EDR, firewalls, vulnerability-management, and incident response
- Understanding of Windows/Linux, networking, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and cloud security
- Familiarity with Active Directory, MFA, IAM, and security frameworks
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or SOC operations
Preferred
- Certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, or equivalent
- Experience with Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, Fortinet, AWS, or Azure
- Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting
