Role Overview

We are looking for a System Operations Associate – L2 to provide advanced IT operations support, troubleshoot escalated issues, and ensure the availability and smooth functioning of infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor servers, applications, backups, alerts, and system performance
• Troubleshoot escalated Windows/Linux, network, DNS, VPN, and access issues
• Perform system checks, job monitoring, patching, and routine maintenance
• Manage user accounts, permissions, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 support tasks
• Investigate incidents, perform basic root-cause analysis, and coordinate resolution
• Support backup, antivirus, availability, and security operations
• Log, track, and update incidents using ITSM/ticketing tools
• Escalate complex issues to L3 teams and coordinate with infrastructure, network, and application teams
• Maintain SOPs, operational documentation, and shift handover reports

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Windows/Linux, networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
• Experience with monitoring tools, backups, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and ticketing systems
• Basic knowledge of scripting, troubleshooting, incident management, and ITIL processes
• Strong communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or infrastructure support

Preferred

• Experience with cloud platforms, virtualization, PowerShell/Bash, and enterprise monitoring tools
• Willingness to work in shifts or participate in on-call support
